Welcome to Asturias Padel Camp
Hi, I'm Kate. I didn’t grow up playing padel, and I didn’t grow up in Spain.
Four and a half years ago, the war forced me to leave Ukraine and rebuild my life from scratch. I found myself in Asturias. The transition was daunting, but the overwhelming warmth and support of the people here gave me a foundation to start over, and this beautiful region quickly became my new home.
A year and a half ago, I stepped onto a padel court for the first time. What began as a way to stay active became my gateway into the local community. On the court, language barriers fade. You just play, laugh, and connect. Padel didn't just give me a sport; it gave me a true sense of belonging in Spain.
I created this camp to give back to the region that welcomed me, and to show the world that Asturias is a hidden gem for padel. But I am not building this alone. I am proud to be in direct partnership with the administration of La Fresneda Country Club. While I personally handle your trip logistics, accommodation, and off-court experiences, our partnership grants you full access to their premium facilities and dedicated professional coaches for your training.
Because 2027 is our pilot season, we are keeping the groups small and the experience highly personal. When you book a week here, you aren't dealing with a faceless corporate travel agency. You are dealing directly with me and the welcoming community at La Fresneda. Together, we’ll make sure you walk away with a better game, wonderful memories, and a deep love for Northern Spain.
